FoodieLand could very possibly be considered the Oscars of the food truck world, if only for its sheer size. 185 food trucks are driving to the fairgrounds on the first day of spring, preparing their best dishes in hopes of winning the hearts of foodies from all over the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Celebrating community, diversity, and of course, FOOD, tickets cost $6 for everyone over the age of 5 and must be purchased online, they do not sell tickets at the door, so don’t make a rookie mistake of showing up empty handed, only to be turned away. You don’t want to miss this big-time food event that will also be offering live entertainment!
Uncorked: Arizona Wine Festival, March 29, Salt River Fields at Talking Stick
Salt River Fields barely has time to tuck away the hotdogs and cracker jacks left over from spring training before they open their gates again, this time offering a more elevated food and beverage forum. Uncorked: Arizona Wine Festival offers over 100 different wines, bubblies, cocktails, and beers, as well as a large selection of gourmet food trucks all introducing guests to the best of Arizona food and drink. And although we are partial to the tacos and burritos we serve from the window of our truck, we have to say that we don’t mind sipping and savoring the wines that are mostly created right here in our state. Chardonnay goes with everything, don’t let anyone tell you anything different!
Arizona Bike Week, April 2- April 6, AZ Westworld of Scottsdale
You don’t have to be a biker to enjoy all the fun of AZ Bike Week, especially as the entertainment options are so entertaining and the food is so delicious. Every day offers a new schedule, including games, shows, music, and even classic cars because who doesn’t love a classic car? The food provided by local food truck vendors is sure to be wonderful, the weather is going to be beautiful, and your week will be memorable when you explore all that Arizona Bike Week has to offer.
